And it's another fairly full issue. Jacquie Phelan graces the pages twice, celebrating Cranksgiving, and reviewing a giant new coffee table book. Andrew Lamberton recounts his first 'proper' bike, while we also take a look at sideswiping and reasons for riding.

If you want to know how you can ride on a pavement we've got a guide for that. And then there are all the usual articles and fantastic pictures we hope you've come to expect.

All that's left to say is we hope you all have a good and safe time over the Christmas period, and we'll be back in January (a week later than usual, we need some time to recover as well!) with a special 'alternatives' issue - folders, recumbents and cargo trikes with everything in between.
